Blizzard removes Orcs from Warcraft III - Agelmar @ 11:03 pm EST
I just saw this on GameSpot and thought I had better post it... some of the biggest news to come out this month from Blizzard came today. Credits to GameSpot for the news-
Apparently, Blizzard is totally dropping the Orcs from Warcraft III. They have already dropped two races, the Orcs will be the third race to be dropped from Warcraft III. Apparently, Blizzard likes the Starcraft 3-race model better, and the "official" testers didn't seem to mind the change, even though it will further push back the release date. Blizzard claims that the Orcs were never really that important to the world of Warcraft, and that they easily could have used some other race found currently in Warcraft III.
If you haven't figured it out by now, this is an April Fool's joke. I have received a good number of emails asking me if this is really true -- no, it is not. Shame on you Gamespot, confusing so many people... lol. Anyhow, happy April Fool's day. Comments

New affiliate up - Sytadel @ 6:54 am EST
One of SC:M's latest affiliates, Extreme Starcraft (a.k.a. Brood War Nation) is back with a bang! It's good to see a fresh new face arrive this late into Starcraft's life, and even if SC does die soon, you can check out their sister site, Extreme Warcraft.
Good luck Extreme Starcraft! Comments

UsEast - Taken Over By New Hack? - Staind @ 6:51 pm EST
Many people, including myself, found that when logging on to gateway: UsEast and entering the main channels StarCraft would shut down. This was also happening to me in Clan X17. It seems that someone (with no life) has set-up bots in the channels, and is now shutting off StarCraft for anyone who enters the channels. Hopefully Blizzard will catch on soon, but that will probably take a couple of days. =(
